How to use “rss feeds” (content from your other sites).
On your Site Or blog; or any site that you want.

First off; don’t worry. This is really simple! Thats why they call it “really simple syndication” (rss).

First you need to set up a free acount at:
Feed Digest http://www.feeddigest.com/
Just follw the easy instructions to get started.

They let you create and store feeds here. (Free)

Here I’m using java script: example

Here I’m calling the rss with php: example#2

Java script is the easiest to use. But the search engines can’t see it.
php and HTML work great and can be seen.

check out those sites and see what you think.

ON THE PLANE

A young, well-educated man on a business trip gets on the plane to
find himself seated next to an older, weathered man in a western snap
shirt, faded jeans and a cowboy hat. Thinking himself above the old
cowboy, the young man decides to make sport of him.

“You know,” he says, “I’ve heard these flights go more quickly if
you strike up a conversation with a fellow passenger. So, let’s talk.”

The cowboy looks at him wryly and says, “Well I s’pose that’d be
all right. What would you like to discuss?”

“Oh, I don’t know, “says the young man with a hint of sarcasm, “How
about nuclear proliferation?”

“Hmm,” says the cowboy, sensing the young man’s attempt to belittle
him, “That could be an interesting topic. But, let me ask you a question
first –horses, cows, and deer all eat the same stuff — grass. Yet, a
deer passes little pellets, a cow turns out a flat patty, and a horse
makes muffins of dried poop. Why do you suppose that is?”

Dumbfounded, the young man replies, “I haven’t the slightest idea.”

So tell me then,” says the cowboy with a smile, “How is it that you
feel qualified to discuss nukes when you don’t know sh*t?”

Browser of choice

March 18, 2007

I think the number one reason that I started using Firefox, was for a feeling of independence. I felt like a rebel not using Microsoft stuff. It felt good exploring new territory. I had tried out several other browsers before I found Firefox. They were kind of fun, sorta fancy, but not real effective. I started getting into web development about the same time that I started using Firefox. They go hand in hand in this category. Getting “plug-ins” and “extending Firefox” is probably the easiest thing to do. Remember that the more extensions you install can possibly have an effect on your browsers characteristics and performance. Don’t worry though, they are easy to un-install. I joined this community rite off the bat (Spread Firefox). When you think about it, We are a large community! But when you look at it, we are just a stone in the shoe of Internet Explorer. Hey, it’s a long walk and were feeling no pain. It’s interesting to watch it grow like this. See the live down load numbers at the top of the 101blog page. Thanks for stopping by:
